Plywood is a sheet material made up of several layers of birch wood, the number of layers is always odd. The layers are glued together crosswise. Due to the odd number of layers, there is always 1 direction that is more flexible than the other direction. Thicker plywood consists of more layers, making it increasingly stronger and less flexible.
Plywood has a light color, but a real wood look. Because the wood grains are visible, each sheet of plywood is different in appearance. Interior birch plywood is easy to process with a laser cutter, we can laser cut this well, but also engrave it very nicely. The material is also easy to saw, mill, drill and sand. For laser cutting we always work with interior birch plywood, these plates are suitable for indoor use. With a simple coat of lacquer, these plates are certainly also suitable for outdoor use.
